Download the below file, unzip it and place it on a USB flash drive. This does not have to be a blank flash drive. Insert the flash drive into your receiver.
If you want to save your own personal channel list now is the time! Under Menu->System->Save to USB.
If you do this upgrade it WILL WIPE YOUR PERSONAL CHANNEL LIST.
If you receiver is off, turn it on and let it boot up.
Once up and running bring up the MENU.
Then go to SYSTEM and then UPGRADE BY USB.
With your arrow keys move through until you see this file. It will be labeled same as below.
In upgrade mode select what you need. Make sure to select the option of All Plus Boot-Loader.
Go down to start and press OK. The receiver will upgrade and reboot.
After reboot go back through the same procedure and this time locate your saved backup. In the upgrade mode select Channel List Only. Upgrade and reboot and you will be good to go!
Below is the newest firmware for the HD265. This comes with the stock NA satellite list, that has been updated to include new satellite names. Follow directions above to backup your personal satellite list and channels. Once you have upgraded the firmware you can put your channel list back!
The Firmware directly below labeled 265_may04_ke4est was released on May 04, 2018 for the MINI HD265.
This firmware activates the NTP time function!!! As long as you have an internet
connection, you will no longer lose time! YAY!!!!
This firmware also adds the ability to edit the satellite list via the remote, instead of having to use an editor on the computer. Perfect for those without a Windows machine.
